Where One Door Closes

I’ve got some good news but also some bad news so let’s get the bad news out of the way first. You may have seen my post from a few days ago about submitting my album to Pandora. Well, they rejected me, but I didn't get down on myself because my music has now been accepted by six different online stores, including: Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Bandcamp, and Tidal. So my music isn't exactly hard to find. The links to all of my online store locations can be found by scrolling to the bottom of any page on my website jlombardimusic.com and simply clicking the store button of your choosing (or you can help a brother out by buying it directly from my website.)

Vocal Media Categories

You may have also heard that I found this cool new blogging platform called Vocal Media. I've had two articles featured in a couple of their categories. First I sent the blog I posted a few days ago about how I made my music video, and that made it to their music section called "Beat", which you can find here. And my inspirational post from the other day called "Getting Up" also made it into their mental health section called "Psyche" located here. Aside from some extra exposure, I get paid based on how many people read my posts, so if you have a minute, give those articles a quick read. I'd very much appreciate it.

Vocal Media is actually a really useful tool for both writers and readers. It's great for writers because they get paid based on their performance rather than the bias of the site moderators. Plus, the readers get a super wide variety of content to choose from. They've got everything from sports and poetry to pet care and tech reviews. And you'll find that a lot of people offer firsthand experience in whatever they're talking about. If you're looking for product advice, it's like reading amazon reviews without all the grammar errors, and you get 600 words or more. I'd also describe it as a free online magazine without all the ads you would expect to see. So far it seems to be a great new way to learn and share thoughts, so check it out sometime and consider submitting an article of your own. You might make a quick buck off it!

In other news, Loocyd and I are working on our set list currently and will be getting some live performances going in the near future. I'll send out dates and venues as soon as that's set up, but until then, thanks for reading and wherever you are, I hope you're doing what you love with the people you love!
